Stay, Camp & Explore Dalmeny

Dalmeny Campground is one of the most relaxed and beautiful campgrounds on Australia’s east coast, great for family holidays or just a quiet weekend away.

It has absolute beach frontage with stunning views over the ocean to the north stretching along Dalmeny Beach and Eurobodalla National Park to Potato Point. As one happy camper said, ‘you can check the surf from your bed’.

To the west, the campground overlooks the entrance to Mummaga Lake.

There are both powered and unpowered sites, catering for everyone from campers to big rigs.

    Whale Watching

From September through November each year, the coast off the Eurobodalla region becomes a scenic migration route for humpback and southern right whales. You can try your luck from lookout points such as Bar Rock, Dalmeny Headland and Kianga. Many whales swim close enough to shore during their southbound journey that you may hear their exhales. For a closer encounter, book a guided whale-watching cruise from Narooma. Experienced skippers know where whales are likely to be and follow responsible wildlife-watching practices.
