Narooma’s ANSA Annual Fishing Tournament is held annually in March to coincide with the Canberra Long weekend. The pristine coastal waters of Narooma and surrounding towns are second to none and the fishing is fantastic. With anglers coming from intrastate and interstate. The event is fully catered or there is an uncatered entry option and there is a licensed bar at the club house. They encourage this event to be a family orientated weekend enjoying the tournament and incorporating other activities that the area has to offer. The 2018 Tournament is a milestone event as it is the NSGFC’s 50th consecutive year of holding this tournament and it will be bigger and better than any other year with many prizes and mystery prizes for those who attend. Friday and Saturday evening is when weigh-ins and all the competitors tend to congregate, meet and enjoy the club facilities. Raffles and giveaways are part of each night with many prizes won. On Sunday, from 1pm, the official presentation of awards and prizes occurs. Something for everyone, family orientated and heaps of fun.
